Championship Rules 2010
1. The M.A.Q.M.A. 2010 Championship will consist of 13 point races.
2. In the event of a rain-out or cancellation of a race/s, the required number of races will drop 1 race per cancellation.
Races will be completed on Saturday. Local races will not be raced on Sunday.
3. The driver must be a member of M.A.Q.M.A. to participate in the Championship.
4. There will be two drops allowed.The driver must compete in 11 races to be eligible for the Championship and
trophy.
5. There can be a minimum of 1 car to compete in a Class to receive a Championship trophy.
6. The USAC Region Races will not count towards the MAQMA Championship.
7. Championship points will be awarded as follows:
100 points -- Winner “A” Main
95 points -- 2nd Place finisher “A” Main
90 points --3rd Place finisher “A” Main
87 points -- 4th Place finisher “A” Main
84 points -- 5th Place finisher “A” Main
81 points -- 6th Place finisher “A” Main
78 points -- 7th Place finisher “A” Main
75 points -- 8th Place finisher “A” Main
72 points -- 9th Place finisher “A” Main
69 points -- 10 Place finisher “A” Main
8. Each finishing position will drop 3 points for “B”, “C”, Main, etc.
9. In the event a driver is disqualified at the scales or in post race tech, he/she will receive zero points for the day.
10. In the event the driver is disqualified for unsportsmanlike conduct, he/she will receive zero points for the day.
11. In the event a driver is disqualified for rules #9 or #10 that race will not be used as a drop.
12. In the event that a driver is not running for points, the finishing order of all point participants will fall in order of the
way he/she finishes in the point standing. A driver who finished 3rd with the 2nd place driver not competing for
points would receive 2nd place points.
13. Every driver will receive 2 minute work rule, one per race per driver.
14. No working on or moving cars while under red until all drivers are cleared.
15. 2010 Rules can not be changed.
